Wire harnessing is the method of securing and aligning sets of different wires to the right connectors in perfect spacing to fit a specific application. Used widely in the automotive industry to organize the many different types of electrical wiring systems required to provide function to the vehicle, from lighting systems, to electric functionality, door locks, window controls, ignition, battery power through the alternator, and fuses in the lines to make sure it all works how its suppose to. These wire harnesses are incredibly complicated and specific to each make and model. The connectors used are built to keep out dust and water and are heat resistant and tested for durability under strict specifications.
