Procurement Manager;

The Procurement Manager identifies best cost regional sourcing opportunities, prepares on-line bid events, qualifies successful suppliers and coordinates transitions to new suppliers with others in procurement. The Manager also acts as liaison with quality and engineering departments to resolve issue which may arise during quoting, sampling, and delivery of components. 

Position Responsibilities; 

  • Assess supplier capability, cost benefit analysis, issue resolution, risk mitigation and contingency planning
  • Review drawings and specifications & ofter tech support using our system.
  • Manage projects through completion, with Quality Assurance,Planning, Project Managers, and Buyers as necessary. 
  • Liaison between suppliers, Quality Assurance,and other commodity groups of Procurement as necessary to support cost containment and cost reduction project implementation. 
  • Develop and maintain systems and processes necessary to maintain and drive supplier suggested cost reduction.
  • Assess and communicate technical risks, business requirements, deliverables and schedules supporting project initiatives.
  • Drive Procurement initiatives to completion inside the estimated project schedule.
  • Analyze technical data, designs, preliminary specifications, manufacturing limitations and supplier facilities.
  • Coordinate efforts between suppliers, Engineers, Quality Assurance and Procurement Personnel to facilitate material substitutions, standardization, rework and salvage of purchased materials.


Basic Qualifications

  • Business or technical degree required (IE, ME, EE, BA, BS).
  • International purchasing experience.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret engineering drawings, quality systems requirements and customer specifications.
  • Strategic procurement experience
  • Ability to understand component requirements and communicate requirements to suppliers.
  • Experience with multiple facets of global purchasing.
  • Personal computer with knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Excel, Word and Project.
    Organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
    Strong oral and written communication skills.

Senior Purchaser

Perfect Parts is looking for experienced Senior Purchaser for the entire portfolio of Perfect Parts products.

This role is central to the continued growth of the Perfect Parts business.  This is a highly visible role with a great career growth potential.

Expectations:

The mission of the Supply Chain organization is to provide the most beneficial source of Product purchasing, establish and maintain the relationship with the Manufacturers and negotiate the most favorable purchase and return conditions for our business.  This organization coordinates the actions with the Demand Planning and Product Management teams to enable the most efficient Supply channel. 

The Senior Purchaser role has the following responsibilities:

  • Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
  • Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
  • Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment within assigned budgets.
  • Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
  • Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.
  • Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
  • Train and mentor Junior members of the Purchasing team
  • Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs.
  • Assist development of on-line purchasing systems.
  • Arrange for disposal of surplus materials.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Statistics or other related disciplines.

•Experience building, iterating, and validating predictive data models from scratch.

•Advanced knowledge of Excel and other MS Utilities.

•3+ years of managing Purchases in growing businesses. Experience in Distribution Business or Operations Consulting is a plus.

•Strong written and verbal communication skills preferred

•Team player with negotiation and leadership skills

Senior Sales

Perfect Parts is looking for an experienced Sales individual within our growing Sales Team.  This role is central to the

continued growth of the Perfect Parts business.  This is a highly visible role with a great career growth potential.

The mission of the Sales organization is to provide the most beneficial source of interaction between the Customers and our Offer.  This includes critical communication between various teams within the Corporation. 

 

The Senior Sales role has the following responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain influential relationships in purchasing. Interface with Electronic Design engineers, Buyers or Maintenance Purchasers and other members of the customer organization
  • Troubleshoot issues to determine the most effective solution.
  • Build relationships with customers, respond timely and accurately to quotation requests, process customer orders and be responsible for total customer satisfaction.
  • New account development, solicit opportunities throughout going phone calls and online research.
  • Recognize the positive effects of running a clean profitable business and works to minimize process issues.
  • Promote franchised lines to new and existing customers.
  • Mentor and guide Junior Sales members

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication: face to face, phone skills, Presentation skills
  • Ability to meet with customers
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and start-up environment, highly organized with the ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Inside sales experience in Electronic Distribution Field highly desirable

Junior Sales

Perfect Parts is looking for a NCG or a Junior Sales individual within our growing Sales Team.  This role is central to the continued growth of the Perfect Parts business. 

This is a highly visible role with a great career growth potential.

The mission of the Sales organization is to provide the most beneficial source of interaction between the Customers and our Offer.  This includes critical communication between various teams within the Corporation. 

 

The Junior Sales role has the following responsibilities:

•             Support a team of salespeople that will serve as a foundation to better understand and service customers in our industry.

•             Develop skills to build and maintain current and potential customers.

•             Provide excellent customer service and account management to our customer base.

•             This is an entry level sales position offering the opportunity for a long-term career in sales.
